Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how DJR Enterprises Limited ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of VoiceFirstPlanner, collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website at voicefirstdayplanner.com and our web app at app.voicefirstdayplanner.com (together, the "Service").
We are based in New Zealand and handle personal information in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Where applicable, we also aim to meet the requirements of the EU/UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address, password (stored encrypted), and any name or profile details you choose to provide.
- Your planner content — the tasks, priorities, projects, notes, goals, values, habits, reflections, and bucket-list items you create in the app.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details; we receive your subscription status and limited billing information needed to manage your plan.
- Usage and device data — pages visited, features used, browser and device type, and approximate location, collected through analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4).
- Communications and feedback — messages you send us by email and feedback you submit in the app.
- Affiliate information — if you join our affiliate programme, referral and payout details processed through Rewardful.
How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions, and provide customer support.
- To improve the Service, understand usage, and develop new features.
- To keep the Service secure and to detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To send you service-related messages, and — only with your consent — occasional product news.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
- Pro AI features (coming soon) will process the planning input you choose to send to generate suggestions, using the Anthropic Claude API; this applies only if and when you use those features.
Legal bases (for EU/UK users)
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of our contract with you (to provide the Service); our legitimate interests (to improve and secure the Service); your consent (for optional cookies and marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics 4, to run the Service and understand how it is used. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Where required, we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run the Service, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Google Analytics — website and app analytics.
- Anthropic — AI processing for Pro features (coming soon).
- Rewardful — affiliate programme management.
- Google Workspace / Gmail — email handling.
We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the Service.
International transfers
Some of our providers are located outside New Zealand (for example in the United States). Where your information is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep certain records by law.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
- New Zealand (Privacy Act 2020): you may request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you.
- EU/UK (GDPR): you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing, and you may withdraw consent or complain to your data-protection authority.
- California (CCPA): you may request to know or delete your information and opt out of any "sale" of personal information (we do not sell it). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these, email us at contact@voicefirstdayplanner.com.
Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's permission to subscribe to a paid plan. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "last updated" date above.
